Sri Lanka Technological Campus adheres to the highest standards established by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) which is a signitory to the Washington Accord, for its engineering degree programs and continues to meet the changing needs of the industry. Our style of teaching follows the modern Outcome Based Education (OBE) paradigm where more emphasis is put on the skills the graduates learn. Students work on real life projects, alongside project managers and engineers from local and national organizations such as Sri Lanka Telecom, and Mobitel.
Industrial training is provided with access to commerce, or industry to sharpen knowledge, skills and career prospects.
Students will be able to follow four year BSc Honours degrees in Engineering that specialize in the following pathways.
- Electronics and Power Systems
- Electronics and Telecommunication
- Electronics and Engineering Management
- Information and Communication Engineering (ICE)
All classes, practicals and examinations pertaining to course units are conducted in the English language.
The entry requirement is a minimum of 3 ordinary passes (S) in approved subjects in Physical Science or ICT stream (for ICE specialisation) in GCE A/L Examinations in one and same sitting and a minimum mark of 30% for the Common General Paper.

The guidelines for these programmes to satisfy these accords are set by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL). We are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Highways and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka.

POSTGRADUATE & RESEARCH UNIT (PGRU)
Our Postgraduate & Research Unit (PGRU) has been established within the campus and provides opportunities for research students to conduct original research under the supervision and guidance of some of the best academics as well as international partner universities, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, Trinity College Dublin and Lancaster University.
