Inauguration Ceremony – Class of 2022

Inauguration Ceremony of Class of 2022 was held on 5th of March 2018 on the Campus premises with the participation of several dignitaries including Prof. Lalith Samarakoon; Chairman of National Economic Council, Mr Kumarasighe Sirisena; Chairman of SLT, Prof. Ananda Jayawardena; Director General of National Science Foundation, Prof. K.K.Y.W Perera; The Chancellor of University of Moratuwa among others, The SLTC management, Academic and nonacademic staff, fresh undergraduates, their parents and the existing students commemorating the commencement of the Academic programs of Class of 2022. The proceedings also consisted of the Launch of the First ever Online Orientation Program in Sri Lanka “ENFUTURE”

Founder CEO/ President of SLTC, Eng. Ranjith Rubasinghe delivered the welcome address for the event.

Giving the opening remarks, Mr Kumarasighe Sirisena stressed on the Social responsibility of SLTC and its vision for coming years. His speech was followed by Launch of the First ever Online Orientation Program in Sri Lanka “ENFUTURE”  This program will be an online orientation in which the students will get the opportunity of getting engaged with this program from anywhere over the student learning management system called the “moodle”

Dr. Ajith Pasqual, Consultant Academic Affairs, He explained about the SLTC’s “ENFUTURE”  and the concept of the online orientation program in detailed. Guest of Honor Prof. Ananda Jayawardena, Director General of National Science Foundation and also the former Vice-Chancellor of University of Moratuwa addressed the gathering and was followed by the Special address by the Chief Guest Prof. Lalith Samarakoon, Chairman of National Economic Council, who has extensive advisory experience in financial sector development, securities markets and public debt management and policy.
